New Federal FOIA Guidelines Bring Back Presumption of Openness

Today's props go to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder for issuing an official memo detailing FOIA guidelines that support the transparency in government initiatives set forth by President Obama.  

Said memo effectively rescinds the guidelines issued on Oct. 12, 2001, by former Attorney General John Ashcroft.
