The Florida Bar offers free legal research sources to members of the Bar from Fastcase. The service was announced at the June 2005 annual meeting, according to a July 15, 2005 Florida Bar News story. The free resources include:
Journalists and other researchers rejoice at the release of the new LexisNexis AlaCarte service. Simply register to begin a search. The searches are free and the results can be viewed and printed at $3.00 per document. The AlaCarte service allows for searching 20,000 news sources, business information and public records, and legal sources. Internet for Lawyers, is a web site with legal research tips for attorneys. The site makes note of a new service offered over at lexisOne.com. Now you can Shepardize cases for a fee by day ($32), by week ($52), or by month ($107). Here's a link to the service. Sure beats paying $4.25 per citation!
